This week’s Photo Challenge is Motherhood. I had a wonderful session with a beautiful family this weekend, and mom is expecting her third child. We lucked out with a break in weather, lovely overcast light, and a gorgeous location.
I love the feeling in this photo with mom’s hand on her oldest daughter. This picture says “motherhood” to me. 🙂

I had a really fun session last weekend with the Busch family. It was sunny outside, but that didn’t mean it was warm! The Busch family was so wonderful, you’d never know that their bones were probably freezing that day.
They have a family boat, so it was a great location for them. They have a lot of memories here, and it was a fun place to shoot!
Kaitlyn’s toothless smile was so adorable and contagious!

Wintertime in the Pacific Northwest can be unpredictable, to say the least, so flexibility is a must for outdoor portrait sessions here. We had planned on a family session last month, but that’s when we were hit by the big snowstorm! We managed to time in a dry-ish session with beautiful overcast light.
