About

I take pictures.  Lots of them.  I have two little girls, ages 4 and 6, so most of my pictures are of their expressive little faces.  I live on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington with my family, which provides a fantastic backdrop when it’s not raining.  Really, it doesn’t rain as much as you’d think here.  The vampires seem to like it…

I love capturing the beauty and personalities in people.  If you’ve been thinking of getting portraits done and want to know more, send me an email!

I also knit, read, hike, and love to travel and cook.

Thanks for checking out my blog!  Leave a comment, and let me know you stopped by!

  1. Love all the pics and can’t wait to see more! I am inspired by your photos! Now for a little camera geek talk – I have a Nikon D80 which I love for all the reasons that people love SLRs. But my everyday camera is a point and shoot Canon SD 1100, which I am actually able to get most my shots that I want even in low lighting. There are times when I wish I had more zoom but that’s where the Nikon comes in handy. I also have to play with the functions sometimes to get a good pic. The HI ISO can be quite grainy but I feel that even when I was taking photos with my old Nikon N70, with 800ISO film, I got the same grainy effect… so for now, I have the P/S in my bag for on the go, and my SRL at home for all the fun moments.

    Happy New Year! Carol
