I ♥ Faces [Motherhood]

This week’s Photo Challenge is Motherhood. I had a wonderful session with a beautiful family this weekend, and mom is expecting her third child. We lucked out with a break in weather, lovely overcast light, and a gorgeous location.

I love the feeling in this photo with mom’s hand on her oldest daughter.  This picture says “motherhood” to me.  🙂

Baby Brilhart [Newborn Photographer | Sequim, WA]

I absolutely love what I do. I couldn’t imagine things getting any more exciting or fulfilling in this line of work… until I shot my first newborn session. Up until now, I have had the unbelievable privilege of photographing babies, toddlers, kids, teens, adults, families, you name it, and I always feel so energized and wonderful after these sessions. This was a different experience, and it’s hard to explain why. This beautiful baby was born less than a week before this photo was taken, and it’s a different experience. Holding a brand new baby and creating images that are so peaceful in nature just makes my heart swell. I know. Cheesy and mushy. But it’s true.

Look what this beautiful mama created.

Marina Portraits with the Busch Family [Family Portrait Photographer | Port Angeles, WA]

I had a really fun session last weekend with the Busch family.  It was sunny outside, but that didn’t mean it was warm!  The Busch family was so wonderful, you’d never know that their bones were probably freezing that day.

They have a family boat, so it was a great location for them. They have a lot of memories here, and it was a fun place to shoot!

Kaitlyn’s toothless smile was so adorable and contagious!
